Art & Philanthropy - Update

In the last two years, I have been busy promoting my new website www.artandphilanthropy.ca  This website allows me to present art work reserved for fundraising purposes.

The site has had a great response and some pieces have been selected to increase the fundraising efforts of various charities. Since its launch in September 2011, there has been some substantial action:

* An article about my new website Art & Philanthropy, written by Heather Jamieson, was published at the ARTNEWS Magazine of the Art Council in Ottawa www.artsoe.ca;

* The first piece of art purchased for a charity through my website was “Sun Dance” with the proceeds going to the Humane Society of Canada;

* I gave a presentation about my new initiative to the Rotary Club of Ottawa / Stittsville Branch to whom “Oriental Inspiration” was donated to raise money for local and international issues;

* My work was part of the Ottawa Choral Society fundraising auction titled Flying Machines presented at the Museum of Aviation in Ottawa (sorry no picture!);
