Often I drive south towards the St. Laurence River, and on my way, I see the ever-changing landscape. Through out the year I discover the beauty of the Canadian seasons, especially during spring and summer, when the fields are covered with wild flowers. On one occasion they might be white or yellow, and on another one, I discover they have changed to fuchsia or purple.I wanted to capture this changes so I decided to put them all together in one painting but with a little twist…and voila the miniature was born!
The whole painting is only 12” X 12” and each little field is 4.5”X 4.5”. I love to see them all together and I enjoy how my eye wanders from one to another.
